Harvest Time

The weather has cooled down a bit……it seems a little early compared to recent years but very reminiscent of the 1970’s here in the Treasure Valley. Farmers are selling their good produce  at local markets and fruit stand. We went out to Williamson’s Orchards and Winery Saturday and brought home corn on the cob, Red Globe peaches and tomatoes.

The corn was frozen as soon as we got home.

This morning was dedicated to getting the peaches into jars.

Only had one jar break out of ten.

Tomatoes tomorrow. Who knows what will come home next.
